About
Hi there ! I'm Chris
Are you tired of not being able to be quilt or sew because you are not sure how to go about it or you are so busy that you don't seem to be able to find the time.
You crave for some creative downtime but you aren't sure what to do.
You would love to learn to quilt and need someone to show you step by step how to go about it.
If that sounds like you, then relax and chill. You're in the right place.
I was just like you. A busy mum, working full time teaching in a Christian school as head of the mathematics faculty, church ministries and family life. Juggling too many balls.
I often craved for some creative outlet and would feel myself becoming frustrated. So I do understand where you are at and how you feel.
I love teaching and will guide you step by step to create beautiful quilts and projects you will be proud of.
You Can Do This - Together we can do this.
Would you like someone to come alongside you, someone to help you with the confidence and courage to achieve. Someone to help you to keep going until you get it right. Let me be that someone. I would love to help.
A little about Chris
Let's start with the most important members of the team:Jazzy(Poodle/Maltese) Ellie (Poodle/Maltese/Shitzu) and Pippa (Chocolate Burmese) also the boss. They all love 'helping' and will always find a way to be in the right middle of everything at the wrong time.
I live in Gosford, on the Central Coast of NSW Australia with my husband, Pete. I have three adult children, who no longer live at home.
I have always been drawn to crafts from a young age. I have explored embroidery, knitting, sewing, folk art painting, ceramics, patchwork and quilting.
As a former mathematics teacher, teaching remains a huge passion of mine. I love the 'aha' moments when students understand and the relational aspect of teaching.
I am here to help you manage and find time for that creative outlet you desire.
I love teaching and will guide you step by step and together we will create beautiful quilts and projects that you will be proud of.
Every project you will learn something new, so come learn with me! Don't make excuses or save a picture as " an idea for later". You have to start somewhere, so let's grab your supplies, dust off your machine and start sewing together.
